I’ve been on vacation with my family in Mexico since Wednesday. And I’ve been using my time here to reflect and reset myself for this year. I’ve done a few projects for work that I finally had the time to do and worked on creating my spear for as well. I believe it’s important for us to take the time we have to reflect and reset ourselves and leave the baggage from last year behind as well. To often do we think about what others will think about us. This completely stops our actions to better ourselves. The moment you compare yourself to anyone who isn’t in the exact same situation as you, you’ve already set yourself up for failure. You need to let your actions speak louder than their judgment.

Worth

 For the entirety of May I was on a dark underground journey with myself. I analyzed everything about myself, where I am, and what I want to become. It got dark. Not going to get into specifics but it was a lot of talk with myself in a mirror or my car or to myself throughout the day. To keep it appropriate I kept telling myself “you need to win Owen. Packing Up

 It has been none stop at the house to get everything ready before we move. We’ve done countless trips out to the storage unit and to my grandpas to store some of our equipment. I’m not a great people person when I comes to living close to one another. I just feel like I have no personal space and that everyone can hear you even when your inside your house. And with us moving into town I’m worried about crime. So I’ll be taking some extra steps to make sure my belongings aren’t in my car as much as they used to be. Year of the Horse

I am excited with what is happening next year for the I Ho Chaun team. Growth cannot happen without change no matter how comfortable it may feel. The less we change and challenge ourselves the easier it is for mediocrity to enter our life. And like I said on Thursday, if your not going to be on the team text year use that as a tool to keep yourself disciplined on your journey to be in the team in the future.
